Position: APS5 Desktop Support Officer
Location: Canberra
Start date: End of June 2026
Duration: Initially 3 months with potential to extend for another 3 months
Pay rate: Rates negotiable dependent on skills and experience
Security requirements: Baseline Security Clearance preferred or ability to obtain

Overview:

Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced APS5 Desktop Support Officer to join a fast-paced ICT environment supporting departmental staff, senior executives and ministerial offices. This role will provide Level 2 ICT support across a range of end-user technologies and services, contributing to the delivery of reliable and secure ICT operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 ICT support to departmental staff, senior executives and ministerial officers via phone, email, instant messaging, service requests and onsite support.
