About The Role
HGV Mechanic
Location: Quarrington
Shift Pattern: Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am‑6 pm plus alternate Sunday mornings, 7 am‑12 pm
Salary: £17.47 per hour
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team in Quarrington. This is a hands‑on workshop role where you’ll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing HGV vehicles to a high standard.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an HGV Mechanic, you’ll play an important role in keeping our fleet safe, compliant and available for operation.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Carrying out 6‑weekly inspections, MOT preparations and repairs
- Performing planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and completing effective repairs
- Accurately completing maintenance records and paperwork
