Hourly Pay Range:

$28.47 - $42.71 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Histology Technician
• Location: Evanston Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm, rotating weekends and holidays

What you will do:

• Processing tissues using Xpress microwave rapid tissue processor
• Embedding: Manual and Automated using Sakura Auto TEK embedder
• Microtomy of paraffin embedded tissue blocks both manual and auto embedded
• Recuts of tissue blocks
• Special Stains
• IF cryotomy of skin specimens

What you will need:

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's in Laboratory Science and Histology routine training or Completed accredited Histology Technology program.
