  Summary  
 Sign On Bonus $7500.00
  What You Will Do 
 Perform functions involved in slide preparation for various body tissues following surgery or autopsy for study.
 SRHS Pathology Department receives specimens from all hospital campuses, over 100 multi-specialty physician practices, and from the Gibbs Cancer Center.
 Receives specimen from ambulatory surgery centers in Spartanburg County.
 Real-time specimen analysis for surgical cases.
  Case Types 
 Any type of specimen collected from the human body in need of analysis per physician's request.
 Histotechnicians are assigned various stations upon the start of their shift; some of which include: embedding, immunos, and cutting.
