Job Summary:
The Ambassador Program's mission is to provide outstanding customer service to all patients, family members, visitors and staff at University Hospital. Greet patients, families and visitors as they enter and issue visitor badges/hard badges in a courteous manner. This position will be housed in the main lobby of (550 Harrison). Candidates must be able to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks effectively in a timely and accurate manner and function under stressful situations. Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills are necessary.

Duties include but are not limited to: Conducting a courteous, professional interview with patient. Gather and enter all demographic and insurance data into EPIC. Obtain required signatures, distribute forms and patient cards appropriately. Correctly identify and attach patient bracelets. Maintain patient confidentiality.
