Hospitalist Physician

Facility in Ketchikan, AK seeking Hospitalist locums coverage Rates: $190-$200/hr Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: Expected May 21, 2026.
• Duration: 6 months (Intermittent coverage for approximately 1 week per month).
• Schedule: 12-hour variable shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM 7:00 AM).

Clinical Scope & Responsibilities The Hospitalist will function as a solo provider, managing both Med/Surg and ICU patients within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital.

• Daily Census: Average of 10 cases per day.
• Patient Demographic: Adults (18+). While Pediatricians admit and follow their own patients, the Hospitalist may occasionally be consulted.
• ICU Management: Responsible for rounding and admissions in the ICU.
