Housekeeping Aid (Leader)

Summary The Lead Housekeeping Aid positions are located in the Environmental Management Service (EMS) and are responsible for all matters pertaining to section operations. The Lead Housekeeping Aid leads three (3) or more employees in performing their duties while performing the full range of housekeeping tasks required to maintain the Medical center and other facility units in a clean, organized and sanitary condition. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Pass on instructions to other workers and get work started. Work alongside others setting the pace. Demonstrate proper work methods; ensure necessary plans, materials, and tools are available, and needed stock is obtained. Obtain needed information or decisions from supervisors on problems that come up during the word. Maintain current knowledge, and answer other workers questions on procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives.
