Responsibilities

  • Be part of a dynamic cross‑functional team that plays a key role in supporting HR Operations.
  • Investigate and resolve system issues, conduct system maintenance and testing, and provide ongoing expertise.
  • Create and maintain strong partnerships with embedded functional staff and the wider Ministry.
  • Fixed Term/Secondment: August 2026 – April 2027, Wellington based.

The HR Systems Administrator is part of a small and busy team responsible for maintaining the ongoing reliability, performance, and support of the Ministry’s people systems and environments.

Role Scope

  • Provide direction and support for planning, implementing, testing, rollout and post‑implementation support of configuration changes, including demonstrations to functional teams when required.
