Job Description
WSP is seeking Health & Safety Inspector who will be responsible for ensuring that all onsite construction/infrastructure activities comply with applicable HSE standards, regulations, codes and project HSE requirements. The role supports the creation of a safe working environment, prevention of incidents, and promotion of a strong safety culture across all contractors and stakeholders.
+ Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety surveillance of work areas, equipment, materials, and operations to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, environmental risks, and non-conformances.
+ Verify that Risk Assessments (RA), Method Statements (MS), Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, and safe work procedures are in place, followed and documented.
+ Monitor contractor compliance with PPE usage, housekeeping, scaffolding, lifting operations, work at height, confined space, hot work, electrical safety, fire protection, emergency response, environmental ...
