Humanitarian Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Humanitarian Manager to coordinate humanitarian efforts within Pakistan
• Plan and execute humanitarian projects in alignment with Area priorities
• Coordinate with departments to ensure humanitarian projects are on track and completed timely per the project plan
• Provide training and support to senior missionaries and volunteers
• Build and maintain relationships with local communities, government officials, and NGOs
• Develop and manage project budgets in accordance with the relevant compliance principles and organization policies and standards
• Compile internal reports, prepare payment requisitions, and provide other related financial support
• Assist to manage project proposals and project oversight including keeping within budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 5 years’ in project management or relevant experience
