Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Technician

**Job Description:**

This position provides direct patient care before, during, and after hyperbaric treatments. This position will perform varied tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional to assist with hyperbaric patient needs. Under the direction and delegation of a licensed professional, assists the patient care team to ensure safe and quality care is given.

+ Operates the hyperbaric chamber according to the level of training and established protocols for the following age groups: neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric.
+ Fosters a safe environment by complying with the safety policy, taking appropriate action in an emergency, and removing any potentially hazardous materials/equipment from the hyperbaric chamber before the chamber is pressurized.
+ Performs routine cleaning of the hyperbaric chamber and ancillary equipment to prevent the transmission of infection.
