Senior Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of mechanical technicians providing guidance training and support.
• Oversee the repair maintenance and troubleshooting of marine engines generators transmissions and related mechanical systems.
• Conduct inspections diagnostics and repairs to ensure optimum functionality and reliability of marine equipment.
• Dismantle rebuild and assemble mechanical components as per service manuals and established procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels order spare parts and manage supporting materials for maintenance activities.
• Advise users on correct maintenance practices and preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate logs technical documentation and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Ensure all work complies with health safety and environmental regulations.
