Job Summary:

Responsible for the skillful performance of technical care to patients in accordance with the established policies and procedures and performs clerical duties while functioning as a communication source in the Intensive Critical Care Unit.

Job Duties:

Promptly answers telephone calls and forwards to the appropriate individual.

Prepares requisitions and notifies appropriate departments of necessary procedures.

Notifies Registration Department of patients to be transferred from Intensive Critical Care Unit.

Orders supplies and equipment by maintaining department par levels.

Stocks paper supplies at the nurses' and physicians' desks.

Cleans IV pumps and equipment as needed.
