Key Responsibilities:
- Attendance of briefings and training to enable all duties to be carried out in a safe and sustainable manner.
- Active participation in encouraging a positive attitude towards health, safety, and the environment, reporting to the Supervisor or Foreman any hazards on site and demonstrating care for own health & safety plus that of fellow workers.
- Carry out safety/debris patrols, identify and make safe defects on the carriageway.
- Respond to incidents within timeframes as per our contractual obligations, make recommendations to Network Control Centre and third parties, e.g., Police and NHTO’s where appropriate
- Carry out tasks to clear incidents from the Highway as instructed by Network Control Centre, ISU Lead Operative or Incident Support Supervisor
