Incoming And Supplier Quality Engineer (Ciudad Juárez)

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Establish the methods and frequency for the inspection of raw material that is used for manufacturing, ensuring that certified product is introduced to the production lines. Manage supplier component approval, performance, communication of discrepancies, and corrective action closure along with actions required for supplier development. Oversee the activities related to calibration of the measuring and test equipment used in the manufacturing lines and laboratory, so that this activity is done as programmed and within budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Create inspection plans in accordance with CTQs, whether they are design or process based.
• Determine which is the most appropriate measurement device and measuring method for the characteristic that needs to be inspected.
• Determine the quality requirements for the introduction of new products and processes, so that the First Article Inspection process is followed.
