Indirect Purchasing Category Leader

The Indirect Purchasing Category Leader is responsible for leading strategic sourcing activities across all aspects for Indirect Purchasing.
This includes taking strategic ownership of entire category spend, developing strategies to reduce total cost of ownership -including vendor management, demand management, and governance/compliance -to achieve initial step change Total Cost of Ownership reduction and ongoing year-over-year improvements.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Contract management and fee structure definition for Indirect suppliers.
- Knowledge of Information Technologies and warehousing and 3PL cost structure is desirable
- Negotiation of fees for domestic (US and MX) and import/export routes
- Identification of ground transportation optimization opportunities (palletization, box design, etc.)
