**Job Description**

The Maintenance Mechanic performs and supports a wide range of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and fabrication tasks to keep production operations running safely and efficiently. This role focuses on general repairs, installation, and preventive maintenance on processing equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards and plant regulations.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform general maintenance and repair on a variety of production and processing equipment.
+ Connect and disconnect motors safely and correctly in accordance with established procedures.
+ Operate test instruments and tools such as drill presses, saws, grinders, and related shop equipment.
+ Perform basic stick welding and torch welding to support repair and fabrication needs.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
