Industrial Mine Electrician

Overview

Forward Mining is currently looking for an INDUSTRIAL MINE ELECTRICIAN. Full Time – Monday to Friday. Based out of Yellowknife on the Giant mine site.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician ticket with prior experience in industrial electrical repair and maintenance in the construction and/or mining industry.
• Familiarity with reading electrical schematics and prints required, with preference given to those with working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in mining operations.
• Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and industry best practices; and
• Experience working in a northern community setting with limited access to resources considered an asset.
• Class 5 Drivers License
