Local company seeking skilled Refractory Bricklayers!
1st Shift Openings!
Essential Functions:
Read and interpret refractory lining drawings and work orders
Use brick saws and bricklaying equipment to install firebrick in ladles, furnaces, tundishes, and related units
Perform refractory installation methods including gunite, pouring, ramming, pumping, ceramic fiber, and firebrick work
Assist with cleaning and preparing equipment for repair, relining, and fabrication
Performing preventive and general maintenance tasks on tools and refractory equipment; documenting the preventative maintenance
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience using brick saws and bricklaying equipment
Working knowledge of refractory-lined units (ladles, furnaces, tundishes, etc.
)
