GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Accountability for overseeing surveillance, analysis, and reporting of health‑associated infections; educating employees on infection prevention; developing policies in line with the organization’s goals and objectives; supervising staff on infection control measures; and fostering a learning environment through close collaboration.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include:

• Monitor adherence of infection‑control measures and compliance with PCI standard requirements.
• Serve as liaison to the PCI Chairman, managing meetings and contributing to the planning, budgeting, and resource utilization of the service.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to audit evidence‑based infection‑control policies, SOPs, investigate incidents, conduct root‑cause analyses, and ensure timely incident reporting.
