Job Description
Ink Technician
Saica Deeside is looking to recruit an Ink Technician to support our flexographic print operations. The role involves working closely with prepress and press teams to ensure inks and colours meet production and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and supplying inks to support press operations
- Supporting colour consistency across repeat and new jobs
- Maintaining ink stocks, records, and documentation
- Ensuring correct handling, storage, and disposal of inks and waste
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area
- Working closely with press operators and prepress colleagues
Skills & Experience Required
- Prepress experience within a print or packaging environment
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills
- Good organising and planning skills
- Good attention to detail
