Inspector General

Summary The Inspector General (IG) is the principal technical advisor to the Director and Deputy Director on all audits, inspections, evaluations, and investigations to prevent and detect fraud, waste, and abuse in DISA programs. The IG initiates and conducts these reviews by leadership direction or independently under the Inspector General Act. Administratively reporting to the Deputy Director, the IG maintains the full independence required to execute the position's duties. Responsibilities Major Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provides information and advisory support to the Director and Deputy Director on problems, deficiencies, corrective actions, and matters involving audits, investigations, inspections, fraud, waste, and abuse.
