Instructional Coach (Teacher on Special Assignment)

HFM BOCES has an anticipated opening for a full-time Instructional Coach who will be responsible for working with districts in a variety of roles. The successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, classroom teaching experience, and the ab i lity to facilitate professional development. This probationary, 10-month tenure-track position, also offers up to 30 days over the summer .



Expected duties:


+ Serve in the development and support the implementation of i nstructional plans that align to NYS standards , district goals and curricula , as well as the Portrait of a Graduate.

+ Work with teachers and administrators to analyze student data , diagnose instructional needs, and identify research-based instructional strategies to close achievement gaps.

+ Provide individual and / or group instructional coaching and mentoring to teachers to improve classroom instruction for all learners.
