Instrumentation & Monitoring Technician

Hands‑on field role | Geotechnical & Environmental Monitoring

Cirro (part of Geotechnics) is looking for an Instrumentation & Monitoring Technician to install, commission, and maintain field‑based monitoring systems across infrastructure, geotechnical, and environmental projects throughout New Zealand.

This is a practical, hands-on role working with instrumentation, sensors, data logging, and telemetry systems. Please note this is not a software or development-focused position.

You’ll spend time both in the workshop and out on site, working with real‑world monitoring equipment in construction, infrastructure, and remote environments. When systems need to be installed, configured, or fixed on site, you’re the one making it happen.

If you enjoy working with instrumentation, electronics, and monitoring systems — and don’t mind getting your boots muddy — this role will suit you well.
