Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the HQ USSOUTHCOM, Security and Intelligence Directorate, Doral Miami, Florida. Responsibilities Serves as a Counterintelligence Special Agent in the USSOUTHCOM Counterintelligence Operations Branch. Applies counterintelligence (CI) concepts and principles to evaluate operational capabilities and effectiveness. Advises and assists supported organizations and Intelligence Community members concerning the development, validation, and processing of CI requirements.
