TeamHealth is hiring a part-time (2 days per week) inpatient rehab physician (internal medicine background) to do rounding in an inpatient rehab facility in the Havertown, Pennsylvania, area. Key Responsibilities

Perform internal medicine (IM) care in an inpatient rehab setting

Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care

Order and interpret lab results

Prescribe and monitor medications

Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare practitioners

Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions
