Job Description
Seeking an additional interventional cardiologist due to increased patient need/demand.
Full time position – Monday thru Friday 4.5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week 36 patient contact hours Call: 1:3 STEMI Call and 1:6 Cardiology Call General & Interventional Practice Consult service ONLY – Hospitalists take care of admissions The cardiology and oncology department are both affiliated with the Duke Health Network (DNH) 2 Cath labs operating at the hospital currently – doing 500 cases/yr. On pace to perform about 720 procedures a year not counting those procedures performed in the pre and post areas. These numbers do not include TEE's, Cardioversions, Tilt Table Tests or Loop Recorders. We average close to 10 patients referred to open heart every month and 2-3 STEMIs per week.
