Inventory Manager - COLDROOM ENVIRONMENT (CAPE TOWN)

Duties & Responsibilities

Financial Responsibility:

• Ensure costs are captured;
• Ensure unprocessed costs are accrued;
• Ensure monthly inventory department expenditure is maintained within budget;
• Explain variance of budget versus actual;
• Ensure cost overruns are investigated;

Operational:

Replenishment:

• Ensures that stock replenishment is completed before commencement of picking;
• Ensure replenishment is in line with stock rotation;

Put Away:

• Ensure inventory is correctly labelled before put away:

Inventory Control:

• Recalls - assists in the management of the recall process;
• Transaction posting;
• Daily stock accuracy;
• Non-conforming product management;
• Ensure supplier returns are managed effectively;
