Job Description
Lab IT Skill sets:
- Infrastructure & Systems Knowledge.
- Windows Server administration.
- Active Directory integration.
- Basic network troubleshooting (DNS, ports, firewall).
- Familiarity with backup and restore strategies.
- Must also be capable of performing typical lab support activities as the role will be concurrent and not exclusive to Empower.
- Supporting standalone scientific instruments.
- Client/server instruments.
- General instrument > PC connectivity.
- Basic familiarity with common lab applications (unicorn, chemdraw/chemoffice etc).
- Waters Empower administration experience - A Plus - HPLC, Mass Spec, Configuring DCOM, Troubleshooting, LACE configuration.
