The role

We are currently seeking a confident and motivated team player to join the Policy and Strategy team as an Iwi and Hapɖ Relationships and Policy Advisor. This is a permanent full-time position located in Palmerston North.

The Strategy and Policy team are looking for someone to provide strategic and technical advice on Iwi Māori policy related matters, to ensure our policy development reflects our Te Tiriti obligations and that iwi and hapɖ aspirations for natural resource management are met. This role also supports relationships with the region’s iwi and hapɖ. An understanding of Te Ao Māori and tikanga is essential.
