Java Developer

Location: London/Hybrid, mostly remote
Rate: £Market rates per day (via Umbrella company)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
- Deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable code in line with government development standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Collaborate with solution architects and technical leads to define application architecture and technical approaches.
- Integrate applications with APIs, databases, and third‑party services.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to enable efficient software delivery.
