Java Software Engineer - Investment Bank

Work on site for a global investment bank here in Singapore working on critical projects across their business. If you do not have banking industry experience as yet this could be a great opportunity for you to get some! Banking industry whilst nice to have is not essential for this role they are happy to give training on the job where needed. What You'll Work On: Build and optimise high‑performance services using Core Java (JDK 11+) Design and implement efficient data structures & algorithms Work across SQL / NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.) Develop messaging‑driven components using Kafka, Tibco, Solace, or similar MQ tech Tune, debug, and deploy services on Linux, with strong understanding of JVM internals Write clean, maintainable code using TDD Take ownership of L3 production support and deep‑dive troubleshooting
