Journeyperson Electrician (Substation Construction)

Our Substation group is currently looking to add Journeyperson Electricians to our growing team.

Reporting to the Substation Construction Foreman, the Journeymen Electrician will support the upgrade of a high-voltage 230kV Substation for Hydro One and work within a live substation, ensuring construction is executed effectively and safely.

Please Note: We are looking for resources for a site outside of Thunder Bay, ON. LOA available for those who qualify. Schedule is 10 hours days (Regular time Pay); 8 days on / 6 days off (from Wednesday to Wednesday) with a 0700 AM Start.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation Steel and commissioning of medium and High Voltage (HV) equipment including setting steel supports (gantries, H-frames), transformers, circuit breakers, and switchgear
