Jr. Mechanical Engineer. (Monterrey)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Mechanical Engineer supports new product development for the company’s Thermal general products. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the physical design and/or thermal system design of new products. This engineer must be a practical hands-on type of engineer who can start with an abstract concept and see it through to product launch.

Responsibilities

• Creates/modifies mechanical parts/assemblies/drawings in CAD systems, such as Creo and/or Solid Edge.
• Create and maintain Bill of Materials and unit configurator logic to select the correct BOMs based on options selected by the customer.
• Works with Marketing, Manufacturing, Service and Quality to understand their requirements to design a product that best meets all of their needs.
• Assist with prototype builds by providing technical support and guidance when issues arise.
