Junior Accountant

Large FMCG manufacturing concern seeks candidate with a completed B Com Accounting degree and/or similar and a minimum of 3 years hands-on accounting experience gained preferably within an FMCG manufacturing concern.

Assist with Monthly Management Accounts.
Month-end duties and account analysis.
Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
Journal processing.
Adhoc queries.
Handling of VAT audit
Assist with annual audit preparation.
Assist Financial Manager with Preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
Assist with Fixed Assets accounting.
Intercompany balancing.
Petty cash.
Analysing cost for department heads and compare with budget files.
Payroll Reconciliations
Assist Payroll department with accounting requirements.
Update of foreign currencies.
Assistance in preparation of Financial statements.
Statutory Requirements – Stats SA and annual returns
