Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Chemist to support our laboratory operations in the rubber manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will assist in the formulation, testing, and quality control of rubber compounds and products. This role offers hands‑on experience in industrial polymer chemistry and exposure to materials development for applications in molded rubber goods.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and testing of rubber formulations, including compounding and mixing elastomers, fillers, oils, and curing agents.
Conduct physical and chemical tests on raw materials, in‑process compounds, and finished rubber products (e.g., tensile strength, hardness, aging, elongation, rheometry).
Operate laboratory equipment such as rheometers, Mooney viscometers, tensiometers, and hardness testers.
Maintain accurate records of experiments, test results, and observations in accordance with laboratory protocols.
