Junior Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in planning and deploying network infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve core network incidents.
• Develop and maintain up‑to‑date documentation for managing core network infrastructure.
• Communicate planned and unplanned network events to the NOC, including clear guidance on potential impact.

Required Skills

• MTCNE certification
• Extensive layer 2 and 3 experience
• Strong Linux server experience
• Extensive experience with major switch and router OEMs, ie Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Mikrotik etc
• Familiarity with all FNOs
• Extensive experience troubleshooting high‑level network incidents
• Strong background in telecommunications technologies
• Familiar with major fibre operators
• Familiar with major data centre operators
• Experience building and maintaining carrier networks
