Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India-funded research project at GITAM University, Hyderabad.
Project Title: Deterministic Creation and Characterization of Negatively Charged Single Boron Vacancies in Hexagonal Boron Nitride for Quantum Technologies
Project Description: This project aims to develop deterministic approaches for creating quantum defects in exfoliated and large-area low-defect CVD-grown hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) using advanced nanofabrication techniques. The successful candidate will be involved in extensive spectroscopic and microscopic characterization to understand defect formation and quantum emission properties.
