Job Purpose and Impact
The Junior Vessel Operator is responsible for the end-to-end post-fixture freight execution process, from pre-fixture planning through to voyage completion. This role serves as the primary point of contact for Owners, Charterers, Masters, Agents , and other stakeholders involved in the voyage will oversee all operational aspects of assigned vessels, proactively identifying and resolving issues with a strong customer service mindset. The role also contributes to voyage P&L accuracy , ensuring timely and correct inputs for payments to Owners and receivables from is a facilitative and collaborative role, requiring close coordination across internal functions and active knowledge-sharing on onboard technical specifics, port logistics, and system/process improvements.
