Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role
This is a fixed-term, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. The Kaiāwhina role supports ākonga to navigate their learning journey, helping to create positive, educational, and mana-enhancing experiences that contribute to Māori and Pasifika learner success. Kaiāwhina provide one-on-one guidance, assist with formal study-related applications, support class delivery, facilitate meaningful connections among learners, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environment where all ākonga feel a sense of belonging. We would like to hear from you if you have demonstrated experience in mātauranga Māori or Pacific Indigenous knowledge systems, alongside strengths in individual support and event delivery.
