Kaitohutohu | Advisor, Tauranga (Fixed Term)

Our Tauranga tīma is looking for a Kaitohutohu | Advisor. This is a full time, fixed term opportunity until end of April 2027.

Te whai wāhitanga | The opportunity 

As part of this tīma, you’ll contribute to a range of high-impact workstreams across the Waikato‑Waiariki rohe. Much of our mahi focuses on working closely with Post‑Settlement Governance Entities (PSGEs), contributing to accords, and supporting Māori economic development and growth.

Advisors in our tīma support whānau, hapū, iwi, Māori organisations and communities to develop and deliver initiatives that strengthen long‑term social and economic outcomes for Māori. Guided by your Team Leader and Senior Advisors, you’ll help advance Te Puni Kōkiri’s strategy and work with agencies and providers to monitor and enhance the services they deliver.
