Kitchen Chef

We are looking for a kitchen chef, to guide the daily operation in a canteen kitchen, and be the point of contact for customers and headquarters, as well as for suppliers and colleagues. The canteen will be on a large construction site just outside of Skien, where we serve food cooked per order. The menu is flexible and can be adjusted to the chef's own passion and the demands of customers. We are looking at a potential amount of servings of per day.
- Plan and prepare daily menus tailored to employees' needs
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff and activities
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are met
- Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed
- Control food costs and minimize waste
- Accommodate dietary requirements and food allergies
- Ensure timely meal service during designated hours
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Implement new food concepts and be involved in development together with HQ
