Kitimat Speech Language Pathologist

Make an impact as a Speech Language Pathologist at the Kitimat Community Development Centre. This position focuses on engaging youth from birth to 19 using trauma-informed, individualized care.
In this role, you will be integral to our multi-disciplinary team, conducting assessments and providing therapeutic interventions. You will offer services in diverse settings and work with families to empower their daily communication practices, all while maintaining a culture of inclusivity and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and design personalized therapy for children 0-19
• Provide services in clinics, homes, and community
• Coach families on effective communication strategies
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team and community
• Document progress and contribute to program development
Requirements:
• Degree in Speech Language Pathology with necessary BC registration
