Job Description
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Chemistry or related Diploma/Degree
- At least 5 years lab analyst experience
- Understanding stats rules relating to a lab
- HPLC experience
- Own transport
- Willing and able to work shifts (7pm to 7am - weekly rotation)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Calibration of apparatus
- Maintain the QMS in lab according to Good Documentation, Manufacturing and Laboratory Practices.
- Prepare reagents according to SOP
- Document relevant info: reference method, measured pH, temperature
- Prepare raw data according to ALCOA
- Ensure productivity in the lab by sticking to lead times
- Ensure lab operates safely
- Workstations must be kept tidy
- Health and Safety policy must be followed
