Lab Analyst

Job Summary

The Lab Analyst is responsible for conducting analytical and physical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products within the perfume and cosmetic industry. This role ensures compliance with internal specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. The analyst will use a variety of laboratory instruments and techniques, including chromatographic methods, to support product development, quality assurance, and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Sample Preparation & Analysis:
  • Prepare and analyze samples of fragrances, essential oils, cosmetic formulations, and packaging materials.
  • Conduct routine and non‑routine chemical, physical, and sensory tests using chromatographic techniques (GCMS, HPLC) as well as FTIR, UV‑Vis, Karl Fisher, pH meters, viscosity meters, etc.
