**As a Laboratory Service Representative, you will:**

+ Approach patients in a professional, caring, friendly, manner. Accurately identify patients according to policy.
+ Ensure that physician orders are correctly, accurately, and completely entered into the computer system.
+ Ensure that all specimens are collected, transported, and processed using proper procedures and techniques.
+ Ensure that all specimens are correctly and accurately labeled with appropriate information.
+ Process specimens and add-on requests for laboratory analysis.
+ Follow Universal Precautions, safety precautions and all appropriate policies and procedures when obtaining specimens.
