Laboratory Assistant Intern

About the role

Hands‑on laboratory support role assisting with the calibration, configuration, and preparation of temperature monitoring sensors for client deployment in a metrology and instrumentation environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and process sensors and devices submitted for calibration in accordance with laboratory procedures.
• Prepare sensors and associated equipment for calibration using approved laboratory methods and instrumentation.
• Perform calibration and laboratory testing activities under supervision, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and traceability of results.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely laboratory records, including calibration data and test documentation.
• Label, package, and prepare sensor kits for dispatch, ensuring correct identification and correct client allocation.
• Support and execute quality control activities as directed by the Laboratory Manager.
