**Job Summary and Qualifications**
Under the direction of the Laboratory Management Staff, the Lab Assistant fulfills the duty and responsibility to maintain competence and to continue personal and professional growth.
**Work Duties:**
+ Responsible for performing phlebotomy skills appropriately and efficiently under the supervision of laboratory management.
+ Demonstrates skill and accuracy for obtaining specimens for all age groups.
+ Observes patient safety, risk management and infection control policies and procedures.
