Laboratory Officer - Blood Supply Management Division (Permanent Night Shift)

We are looking for an individual with a biomedical, life sciences, or biology background who is willing to work after hours. The role supports the National Blood Program, providing critical after‑hours blood supply operations to ensure timely provision of quality and safe blood and blood products to hospitals. Duties include blood component processing and blood inventory management. The appointee will work in a lab‑based environment. The position requires permanent night shifts, including public holidays and weekends as rostered. Current night shift length is 12 hours, subject to change to 8.5 hours. Total work hours will be 42 per week.

Responsible to maintain an adequate supply of blood and blood products to hospitals and provide laboratory technical support to after‑hours blood supply operations according to laboratory standards.
