Laboratory Quality Specialist, Pathology

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Laboratory Quality Specialist, Pathology.
With guidance from the Clinical Lab leadership team and the QA Manager, will be responsible for proficiency test management and timely follow up. The individual actively compiles, monitors, and interprets quality assurance data as it relates to errors within the department.
This individual is responsible for working with staff, supervisors, managers, and pathologists to facilitate problem resolution for cases with non-conformances. The individual will also tabulate and analyze quality data associated with non-conformances.

Job Responsibilities:

Proficiency Testing: Oversees proficiency testing distribution, performance, result review, and follow up action if necessary.

Data Compilation: Compiles laboratory data requested for monthly QA presentations
